Blue Sky Dance Company - www.blueskydancecompany.co.uk

Blue Sky Dance Company works mainly in contemporary and creative dance styles. Depending on the experience and desires of the group, there may also be opportunities to include a range of other dance genres such as street, African, Bollywood and jazz.
The Company gives its members the chance to develop their creative and technical abilities, performance skills and musicality. Above all, it provides the unique experience of being part of a company. This means that all members are expected to contribute their ideas, commit fully to the group with enthusiasm and have a passion for dance. The members will be equipped with a firm foundation to progress into dance and choreographic studies at school and college level.
Each session consists of a dance class with warm up and longer, taught dance phrases. This is followed by a creative task set individually or in small groups, which will be theme based. Through these tasks, dance pieces are devised for performances at festivals and youth dance platforms.
